TONING UP

It sure is hard getting started back on a training program for me after not training for awhile. I'm so tired of injuries. This last one with my back is taking so long to heal. I still have another week until I go to the Doc. Hopefully she'll say I can start swimming, even though I have been a little bit on weekends.
Anyway, after only twelve days of training I am already starting to tone up. Just a little, but imagine after twelve weeks of training. SmileyCentral.com

Maybe that will give me some incentive to keep it up. I used to enjoy riding my trainer in the house but I've come to hate it for some reason. I would much rather run on the tready than do the trainer. It used to be the other way around before my injury. Go figure.

Randy and I are going on a bike ride today (I think), my first road bike ride in forever, and maybe that will get me motivated to ride the trainer more often.

So here's to working out, getting fit, toning up, and moving closer to Lavaman.

Hey Karen, I'm glad to hear you are able to train a little. Maybe you can motivate me again to start my pilates. I feel so good about myself when I am doing them. Course, I am not sure how Ben will react while am rolling around on the floor. No , I take that back , I do know how he will react, he will be standing on top of me. Is your back feeling better. I was telling Marilyn on her blog that we got a little snow last night. We are suppose to get 3-5" on Sunday. It is really cold too.. I am sorry to hear Daniel does'nt get to come home. I bet he will have a good time with his buddies though. Have a great weekend. Kim and I are both fighting some kind of nasty chest cold thing. Ugg. talk to you later
