We got a phone call from our youngest son, Daniel (PFC Wrighthouse) today. He graduates from the SOI program in the Marines next Tuesday. We thought he would be home for Christmas next Thursday or Friday. But he got his orders and will be flying to North Carolina on Tuesday and will probably not be home for Christmas.
I guess North Carolina will be his permanent base for the next three years. He said that he probably won't go for active duty for about six months.
We are so bummed. North Carolina? What kind of place is that? It seems so far away. We were so looking forward to seeing him next week and spending Christmas with him. He sounded pretty bummed also. The only plus is that most of Alpha Company, which is the company he is with, will be going with him. He's made some good friends there and so they'll still be together.
Well I guess I better go google North Carolina to see what it's all about.

One Tree Hill, it's filmed there. Hey, maybe he'll meet Peyton and Luke and Hailey and Nathan and Brooke and Dan ... well hopefully not Dan.

I Remember when we drove thru North Carolina we meet some really nice people Everyone is very friendly. We were just passing by, I can only imagine that if you live there how homey it would seem.
HEY HE IS NOT TOO FAR AWAY FROM ME MAYBE HE COULD COME VISIT HIS AUNT??? OUR NEPHEW ANDREW WILL BE SHIPPED OUT WEDNESDAY TO AFGANISTAN. THATS SCAREY BUT I KNOW HE WILL BE ALRIGHT. HES THE KID IN THE PICTURE WITH HIS WIFE. THEY ARE EXPECTING THEIR FIRST BABY I THINK IN JULY HE PROBABLY WILL NOT BE HERE FOR THE BIRTH THEY LIVE IN TENNESSEE WELL HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY KAREN DID YOU SEE OUR NEW BABY YET??????
So Karen they removed dog world and green spot on my space at least on some of our sites. don't know whats up. Oh and I seen on the news the other day there is a virus spreading on facebook its a thing sent by on of your friends with links if you get dont open eats your whole computer not good!!!!! anyway have a good day love ya
